Today album art
The band Heaven's Club approached me with an idea to do a video that involved a cult leader, to which I developed a story about a holy man that enters a lush surreal environment and for better or worse, transforms the landscape. At the time I was influenced by the death of Buddha and Indian miniature paintings so I wanted a maximalist flat feel to video. I decided to render the video with a toon shader to achieve a more two dimensional feel, using strictly Maya and Arnold to render.
